Welcome to Bayside Middle School

Bayside Middle School is a 2022 National Blue Ribbon School by The U.S. Department of Education for overall academic excellence. Bayside is one of only 297 schools to receive this honor nationwide based on overall academic excellence or progress in closing achievement gaps among student subgroups Fox Point - Bayside School District, which serves approximately 400 students in grades five through eight.

In the Fall of 2024, the new Bayside Middle opened its doors for students and staff, ushering a new era of updated, modern facilities that reflect the innovative, future ready learning happening within our schools. Our curriculum strives to engage academic curiosity and innovative programming which fosters future- ready skills,  problem solving, communication, creativity, and academic excellence. Strong connections to our community through integrated partnerships help develop the whole child. Our district is committed ensure that equity and inclusivity are at the core of our educational mission and positively impact every student and staff member in our district. We strive to meet the needs of all learners, including a focus on mental and personal wellness. We prioritize the holistic well-being of students and families within our district. Historically, our students excel and achieve at high levels on State and local assessments, including nine consecutive rankings of "Significantly Exceeds Expectations," the highest ranking on the DPI State Report Card.
