Recently 8th grade students competed in a marshmallow tower-building competition in Homeroom. Students worked in small groups to build the tallest and strongest tower using only marshmallows and toothpicks. This activity corresponded to our Ruler curriculum lesson on community. It gave students a chance to practice collaborating and problem-solving, all while mixed with friendly competition. Read Full Post
